Product Design
Our involvement can begin at any stage of a project, whether it is from conception, or mid way through the project to meet time scale requirements. With established relationships with manufacturers in the UK and China, Buckman Hardy also provides production and post design support.
Software Engineering
Embedded software written to the highest standards. We have considerable experience working on many processors old and new. As well as new projects we have re-written code for existing products where the processor is discontinued or is not ROSH compliant.
Turning a Prototype into a Product
This covers a broad range of product engineering skills – PCB and CAD systems, prototyping, environmental testing, EMC testing, product validation testing, mechanical design, production and ATE.
Product Redesign
Buckman Hardy Associates have extensive experience in updating current production designs. New technology is utilised, thus adding new features, obsolete components are replaced; often significantly reducing unit costs and extending product life.
Product Testing
New and existing products are tested for compliance against specifications e.g. CE marking self-certification (by Buckman Hardy) or third party laboratory certification.
Test Equipment
Designed and manufactured to client’s requirements including PC-based and standalone production test gear as well as specialised measurement equipment.
Feasibility Studies
This entails identifying appropriate technologies and associated costs, the anticipated project size and achievable timescales.
